"Det är lite som ett lotteri och det gäller att ha tur" : En kvalitativ studie ur socialarbetarnas perspektiv om våldsutsatta barns möjligheter till stöd

The aim of this study is to investigate the social workers view of what children who have experienced violence needs and their possibilities to receive support. Domestic violence is a problem in our society and the children’s exposure to this problem needs attention. Through qualitative interviews with social workers in a sheltered accommodation, this study can contribute further knowledge in this issue. The results indicate that children have various needs and that there are many different factors that play a part in children’s need for support. Furthermore, the results show that there is a lack of knowledge about domestic violence within the social servicesand there are a number of different obstacles that stands in the way for the children’s possibilities to receive support
